ParentChild+

A trained Early Learning Specialist visits your home twice each week over a two year period.

During each visit, your specialist will:

• Model fun, play based learning activities.
• Support language, literacy, and social-emotional development.
• Strengthen parent-child interactions.
• Share ideas you can continue using every day at home.
• Connect your family with community resources when needed.

Families also receive a free, high quality book or educational toy each week, building a home library of more than 90 books and learning materials by the end of the program.

ParentChild+ is a nationally recognized, evidence based model that helps children develop the skills they need to succeed in school and in life.

Research shows that children who participate are:

• 50% more likely to be ready for kindergarten.
• 50% less likely to require special education services.
• More likely to read and perform math at grade level by third grade.
• More likely to graduate from high school than their peers.

After completing ParentChild+, families may also have the opportunity to continue their child's learning journey by enrolling in one of our Five Star Bilingual Preschools, creating a seamless pathway from home learning to classroom success.
