Every day, Families First works alongside children, parents, caregivers, and educators to create brighter futures. We couldn't do it without the support of dedicated volunteers, interns, donors, and community partners.

Volunteer With Us

Volunteers help us expand our impact across all of our programs. Whether you enjoy working directly with children, supporting families, or helping behind the scenes, there's a place for you at Families First.

Education and Mentoring

Help children and adults reach their full potential by:

Tutoring adults in English (ESL) or GED preparation
Reading with children in our bilingual preschool classrooms
Working one on one with students on teacher guided learning activities
Supporting our Summer Jump Start Program

Family Support

Help families build stronger connections and overcome challenges by:

Serving meals or assisting during our Celebrating Families program
Supporting Parent Café discussions
Becoming a Connection Companion for newcomer families
Joining our First Responder Volunteer team to assist with light home improvement projects alongside program staff and community partners

Community & Events

Support Families First through community engagement by:

Assisting with family events and outreach activities
Helping with office projects and administrative support
Assisting with annual reports and promotional materials
Sharing your profession, hobbies, or life experiences during Community Days
